Between Kathmandu and Pokhara are three major groups of peaks: Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Manaslu and Himal Chuli and the large Annapurna Himal. This trek is recommended by many trekkers though it is not as popular as Annapurna and Everest. It is famous for Tamang Culture, spectral views of mountains, rhododendron forest and a convenient distance from Kathmandu .

Ganesh Himal, not frequented by many tourists and it situated in central Nepal , northwest of Kathmandu the terraced hillsides seem to climb to the sky. Many interesting ethnic groups a mixed of lifestyle offer you a glimpse into real Nepali life and this gives visitors an opportunity to observe the rich Nepalese cultural tradition from the closest quarter and intermingle with locals, hence giving the visitor a sense of satisfaction.Besides it's the area also offer you, an excellent habitat for a wide variety of plants and animals; 526 species of plants (including 40 species of orchids), and 300 species of birds. Other interesting wild animals are the Himalayan Thar, Gaur, many kinds of Monkeys and musk Deer.

There are some interesting panoramic viewpoints, which are called Singala pass, Pangsang Bhanjyang, Jaisal Kunda, Jyamrung. These places offer more than 40 mountains over 6000m (19'680ft.). We start our trek from Betrawati, after driving almost 4 and half hours from Kathmandu . Going through picturrsque village and unspoiled area of the country lead us to Singalala where mountain views are superb. From here we descend through beautiful village and finally get to Arughat where we catch our bus to Kathmandu .

 

Ganesh Himal Trekking Itinerary

Day 01:

Kathmandu (Arrival day and Transfer to hotel) - 1340M

Day 02:

Kathmandu - To Betrawati (5 hours bus drive). North of Kathmandu via Trishuli Bazar

Day 03:

Betrawati - Kispang (aprx. hight 1600m.); 5 hours walk.

Day 04:

Kispang - Thulo Chaur (aprx. hight 2200m.); 5 hours walk.

Day 05:

Thulo Chaur - Gonga (aprx. hight 2900m.); 3-4 hours walk.

Day 06:

Gonga - Rupchet (aprx. hight 3635m.); this is the base camp of Shing La Top; 4 hours walk.

Day 07:

Rupchet - Shing La Top (aprx. hight 4100m.) - Kharka (aprx. hight 2500m.); 7 hours walk.

Day 08:

Forest Camp - Pangsang-la Bangyang (aprx. hight 4100m.) 6 hours walk.

Day 09:

Pangsang-la BangyangTipling (Aprx hight 2000)

Day 10:

Tipling - Borang (aprx. hight 1700m.); 6 hours walk

Day 11: Borang - Jharlang (aprx. hight 1700m.) 6 hours walk
Day 12: Jharlang - Kintang Phedi (aprx. hight 800m.); 6 hours walk.
Day 13: Kintang Phedi - Jemrung (Aprx. Hight 1800m.) 7 hours walk
Day 14: Jemrung - Dhading Bensi (aprx.hight 700m.) - 4 hours walk
Day 15: bensi - bus drive back to Kathmandu (about 3-4 hours)
Day 16: Full Day sightseeing of KTM Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath & Pasupatinath
(B/L/D) = Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
 
Note: Unforeseen Cost such as Flight Cancellation, Delayed, Sick in Trek, and Helicopter rescue in Trek. Cost due to bad weather etc which is out of our control
