Mount Kanchanjunga (8586 M.) is the third highest mountain in the world and the second highest peak in Nepal . It is located in the extreme northeast corner of Nepal bordering Sikkim (an Indian State ) to the east and China to the north. This trek is the most adventurous of all the routes offered. This trek begins at Tumlingtar or Taplejung accessible by air, or Ilam or Basantpur accessible by road.
